The Story:

Take a fantastic musical adventure with an out-of-this-world car that flies through the air and sails the seas. Based on the record-breaking West End production and the beloved film, and featuring an unforgettable score by the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins). Chitty Chitty Bang Bang JR. is one blockbuster that students and audiences alike will find "Truly Scrumptious." Eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts, sets about restoring an old race car with the help of his children Jeremy and Jemima. They soon discover the car is magic, and has the ability to float and take flight. When the evil Baron Bomburst desires the magic car for himself, the family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious and Grandpa Potts to outwit the dastardly Baron and Baroness and their villainous henchman, the Child Catcher.

Music and Lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B Sherman Music by Special Arrangement with Sony/ATV Publishing Adapted for the stage by Jeremy Sands Based on the MGM Motion Picture Licensed Script Adapted by Ray Rorderick

On June 15, New York State lifted most of the state's remaining COVID restrictions, including those in place for theater and day camps.  Theaters are now operating under guidance from the CDC. Based on their recommendations, masks will no longer be required for any of our programs. The CDC strongly encourages unvaccinated people, including children, to wear masks while indoors.

We are grateful live theater will once again be a part of this community - where our talented, focused, and committed youth performers can bring theater magic and joy to an audience!
