Sing, dance, act, and put on a show! Broadway Cabaret KIDS is designed for campers to explore their love of theater while becoming more diverse and dynamic performers. Through songs from popular Broadway shows, campers will learn vocal technique and choreography.  Acting skills such as character development will also be explored. Camp will culminate in a showcase performance for family and friends on the final day.

The JCC is delighted to partner with STAGES to offer an afternoon summer program that extends the STAGES half-day theater program into a full day. It's perfect for families looking for a fun-filled, enriching experience with added flexibility. For additional information, including pricing, payment, and/or to hold your spot in the afternoon program, please email Freyda Schneider at and indicate the session(s) you are interested in, as well as the name and age of your actor.

Safety Statement: Click here for full safety statement.

We are grateful to be back on stage where our talented, focused and committed youth performers can bring theater magic and joy to an audience!

Once again circumstances surrounding the pandemic are changing.  Stages must navigate the ever-evolving COVID-19 protocols for masking as New York State lifts the mask requirement for schools effective March 2, 2022.  Our primary concern is to offer a safe environment for kids to escape into the magical world of theater.  To accomplish this we rely on the current CDC, New York State, and Monroe County COVID-19 statements.

To best serve the youth in our community, Stages theater is mask-optional as of March 2, 2022.  This will allow parents to decide whether their children should wear a mask when participating in our programs.  Audience members will also be mask-optional as of March 2, 2022.

These protocols are subject to change, effective immediately, as necessary based on changing circumstances. Safety of our young performers is our goal. We appreciate your patience, compassion and understanding during these difficult times.

Withdrawal Policy: For withdrawal from Summer Camps, any amount paid is refundable prior to the Registration Fee Due Date listed for each show or camp, minus the $100 nonrefundable deposit paid for each session and the online processing fees. After the Registration Fee Due Date, the session fee is non-refundable except in the case of illness or emergency that prevents the student from attending the session.
